I have drawn up the reading list for the challenge. My goal will be to read as many titles on the list as possible. If I do find anything interesting along the way, I might just throw it into the mix:
- Janet Frame, Owls Do Cry
- Italo Svevo, Zeno's Conscience; As a Man Grows Older
- Freya Stark, The Southern Gates of Arabia
- G.K. Chesterton, The Man Who Was Thursday; Any of the Father Brown mysteries
- May Sarton, Journal of a Solitude
- Malcolm Lowry, Under the Volcano
- Djuna Barnes, Nightwood
- Radclyffe Hall, Well of Loneliness
- W. Somerset Maugham, The Razor's Edge; Of Human Bondage; The Magician; The Moon and Sixpence
Reach for the skies, I say.

I notice that the Djuna Barnes pick seems to be Nightwood but I was thinking of trying some of her plays. I've developed a renewed interest in the form, which may or may not work out.
